About

Hrafn is a software developer and cybersecurity practitioner based in eastern Tennessee, transitioning from a full-stack development background into OT/ICS-focused security work. With hands-on experience across Angular, React, Node.js, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, Hrafn builds tools that put security theory into practice — including Heimdallr, a dependency-free Linux host intrusion detection system, and Forseti, a lightweight SOAR platform for alert correlation and automated case management. Hrafn is currently deepening this focus through the (ISC)² certification track (CC → SSCP → CGRC → CISSP/CCSP) alongside continued study in offensive and defensive security fundamentals. This portfolio reflects that shift: practical, from-scratch builds designed to demonstrate real detection, correlation, and response capability rather than theory alone.
